In the scaffolding tube and clamps system, scaffold tubes are always vertical support (Standards) and horizontal support (Ledgers). The common diameter is OD48.3mm, and in JIS standard in OD48.6mm. Tubes are mainly made of steel strips in Q235 or Q355.
